  5. Note: avoid vegan protein powders. They have been tested and shown to contain the highest concentration of heavy metals. They will promote brain damage.

    Besides that, this all looks pretty good.

  6. i'm a nurse and i know i've heard the vegan docs say 15-30 grams/day is more than enough for the avg person but only high animal protein is tough of kidneys. but us vegans can eat all the plant protein we want without consequence. lol

  7. 30-40 g of protein can be digested at one time. the rest will just be burned. also, if you're not using the protein so effectively (like working out), then too much protein can make you gain weight

  11. I have Garden of Life Vanilla protein powder and it's gross.
    I give it chances again and again.
    Anyone any idea what to do with it?
    They only sell vanilla and chocolate in my country.

  13. I shouted 'oh no' at the amount of spirulina lol. I've been having my own (mis)adventures with spirulina in smoothies. I don't waste good food so will continue to drink it til I've finished the packet, but it makes itself very clear that healthy as it is, it is still very much algae!

  14. The food items that I want veganized:

    – fried ice cream
    – salmon
    – kinder eggs (obviously)
    – fully vegan MREs
    – those milky way sticks/tubes for children from europe that probably no one knows about – Crispy Rolls , as someone kindly reminded me in the comments
    – caviar (I think I've seen vegan caviar in the store once – regret not trying it out)
    – Twinkies ofc

  15. the pasta recipe is good but I don't think broccoli goes well with tomato sauce (just my opinion). maybe your cashew sauce from another dish, or substitute broc with vegan sausage

  17. When it comes to protein too much can actually be unhealthy, it’s not always more is better. The amount in this video is fine, but definitely more than that can have health risks. I just listened to a podcast where Frank Cusimano said too much vegan protein has the same disease risks as the same amount of animal protein.

Ok this is maybe very especific but I live on my own and I think that most young people live in a situation in which the groceries they buy are for themselves alone and not for a whole family, and so it’s difficult to buy all these different products at once because it’s only you and about 3 meals a day and you want to run out before they stale and that takes a longer time for only person. So if I were to buy all these products (that are not cheap by the way) to do these recipes I’d be cooking these 3 recipes for months until the products ended before they stale, so it doesn’t give much diversity.
    Also these nutricional yeast, protein powders, spirulinas, tofu, they’re still processed, they’re vegan but they’re processed, not natural. I’d like to see more videos with just natural ingredients recipes. ✌️

  31. I think Spirulina is vile, I tried so hard to incorporate it in my meals, I just couldn't, it would take over even when I used it in small amounts. Btw, you don't have to add the lemon to your smoothie (unless you want to) because the berries have enough vitamin C to help with the iron absorbtion
